You’re lucky. Billions of people never find the escape hatch to break out of what you call a “cult” but I call “religion”. They waste their entire lives living and, like you, promoting the toxic narratives that are the source of unending misery and bloodshed for humanity. And then they die.

I’ve heard that people are, in fact, leaving religion in droves lately. Even with Islam, where the penalty for going public about apostasy can be death, I read a while back that an anonymous poll somebody conducted found that the vast majority of “Muslims” secretly think it’s rubbish and just pretend to go along to save their skins.

So maybe there’s hope. And surely when you write something like this it must help.
