“Why? Because Costco likes to mess with people by taking away the things they love.”

Ah, but I found the solution to that: seek out alternatives before they yank the product. For example, I was a big fan of the Kirkland “Fruit/Nut Medley”, so I proactively took an empty bag that had all the ingredients listed plainly on it to Winco and, sure enough, they were all available in the bulk foods bins. So I loaded up and never went back to the Kirkland variety which actually, it turned out, cost more anyway. Later, don’t you know, Costco pulled Fruit/Nut Medley, but I just laughed. Too late, suckas!

Same with Bella Sun Luci Sun-Dried Tomatoes. To this day Costco has them in some locations and not others, and since I travel all the time I had to take action: bought two cases direct from the seller in Chico, California. It was a tad more expensive with the shipping, but, hey, I’ve got ’em, and that’s one less thing I have to cruise the Costco aisles looking for.

Costconia is a brutal realm, so you gotta learn to cover your ass!
