This is why I’m glad Trump got elected. (Did I actually say that?)

Because such a loathsome, hideous caricature of a human being got elected, some people … some, but unfortunately far from all … are awakening to the reality of the structure that made it possible.

Gone are the days when genuflecting to honor the traditions and trappings of this supposedly superior form of government was the orthodoxy. The “holy” nation-state is being revealed as just another scam perpetrated by the strong on the weak, causing many parishioners to look around anxiously for the exits.

Being a seriously old person, it’s unlikely I’ll see the day, but I do have hope in my heart that sometime after I’m gone a new world will emerge in which free people will decide what’s best for them, associate with whom they wish, conduct their own affairs peacefully and not have to continually battle for that right against those with bigger guns and cleverer scams.
