The repeated and seemingly incessant efforts of the US power machine to overturn governments and disrupt countries who adopt socialism is, when you think about it, an acknowledgement that the free market system is weak and therefore needs these heavy-handed actions to protect it.
I go with the fundamentals, which show that a free market, in which individuals are able to associate with whom they want and carry out exchanges that benefit both parties, is a success unmatched in history.
If the US warmongers really believed in what makes the US strong, they would welcome socialism wherever it's tried, knowing history has already predicted its failure, so there's no need to intervene.
